 Using bazi or the Four Pillars of Destiny – is referring to reading a person’s destiny from his birth data as presented in the Chinese calendar. The unique feature of such calendar is that all data about time – year, month, day and hour are represented in terms of the five basic elements – metal, water, wood, fire and earth, which are believed to be the basic components of everything in the Universe. The relationship between the five elements accurately helps us predict what is to come by way of one’s fortunes and thus, one can by using this knowledge, multiply the good luck or mitigate the bad luck in one’s life.

Similarly we can read the fortunes of a coming year by analyzing its bazi- lichun. 

The Year of the Horse 2026 in the Chinese calendar, is symbolized by two elements – yang fire sitting on top of fire.  I expect his year to be very hot like fireworks having famines and common droughts. Horse is very powerful elements of fire energy bringing explosions and gun fire. As such, there will be more international conflicts and struggles coming up even may lead to fierce fighting and battles. The horse is the month of June in Western calendar, which is peak of summer, the fire energy is very powerful. So expect this year to have more heated tensions leading to disharmony. Also in fengshui we have just entered Period nine (from 2024 - 2044)and nine in the bagua system of the iching trigram represents fire - Li). So this year we have three fires. The hidden pillars in the horse are yang fire, yin fire and yin earth 

If we take the lichun as the natal chart for the year we can see the day master is rooster flanked by two tigers. This year there will be more younger women in the headlines making headwaves in the wealth sector.  This may be a very exciting year with lots events happening. 

The fire element is happiness, it is also related to finance, stock market, entertainment and beauty, and flying objects… With the coming of fire, people are more optimistic and have confidence to purchase, to spend money and to invest.  This will bring optimism to the financial market, including shares and stocks, tourism industry, crypto currency, airline and transport business, property, banking and gold business.  Gold price can go up in such a  year.  As banking business is also symbolized by metal element, fire year will also bring prosperity to banking related business.   Fire industries like restaurant or other fire related businesses can face severe competition. Water businesses can do well this year like shipping, logistics, spas, wine and alcohol or bubble tea, communication. 

We may  encounter troubles related to fire, such trouble may range from bad relationship, legal troubles. Health wise fire represents heart and eyes and inflammation so more care are needed in these areas. There will also be more chance of fire disasters and volcanic eruptions or nuclear activities or accidents and other explosion during  this year.  

The fire Horse is also a Peach Blossom star or Flower of Romance, which is essential for entertainment and glamorous industries such as fashion, beauty, advertising and media…but the negative aspect of Peach Blossom can be negative scandals. 

The Horse is a powerful fire element, and it is clashing against the Rat which is powerful water element. When such clash between fire and water occurs it will trigger serious fire and water disasters. Particularly, fire is blood and water is liquid, so there will more serious casualty with injuries . Fire is also regarded as air element. As such, horse year will bring strong activities in airline business, air travel, even space exploration. It will be busy aviation year for many people and there may be traffic accidents especially related to air and sea. Fire is also energy, so there will be continual issues of nuclear weapon and nuclear energy. Fire  relates to bodily energy and there may be more sports and exercises activities. 

The Horse will combine with the Tiger and the Dog to create a strong fire combination. 

Such strong fire may result in detrimental environmental disaster, such as forest fire, haze and sea pollutions, oil leakage etc.

In the system of Four Pillars of Destiny, the Horse is in clash against the Rat and in penalty relationship with the Ox and Rabbit. For people who are having  Rat or Ox And Rabbit in any of their Four Pillars, it is easier to suffer from heart disease, blood pressure and inflammation problem. As fire supports earth which represents our muscle and cells, fire year will make it easier to gain weight and will also bring obesity and diabetes.
  

In 2026 flying star the bad star 5 is in the south and 2 is in north west so these two locations will be more easily affected by virus. The fire star-9 is sitting in the south east sector so I expect global south and south east to have more tensions and more natural disasters.

Clashes will bring turbulence, movements, accidents, or big changes. You can expect more traveling opportunities and it is a good year to change jobs or move offices or houses. Though traveling is ideal to mitigate the clash, it is not recommended to travel directly in the direction of the Grand Duke, which is in the South this year. And you should also take extreme care and refrain from participating in extreme sports such as driving fast cars, piloting airplanes, skydiving, parachuting, etc. The celestial animals that combine well with the Horse is the Tiger, Dog and  the Goat. These animals are in a year of harmony. 

The fire fire element of 2026 is expected to bring prosperity to water and maybe oil industries; this is because water conquers fire so the fire element is a symbol of money to the water industry. The second choice is in the wood industries.  Wood industries are textile, media, paper, magazine.  Fire industry  may not do well in this year as there is total absence of metal which is their money.   And there will be much competition.  Fire industry are restaurants, catering, automobile and banking. The restaurant business will pick up in 2030 which is a metal year. For people in the restaurant business perhaps it would be good to sell more water products. 

Frankly speaking I think maybe 2024-2044 being in the period of 9 which is fire May bespoke the financial exhaustion the globe made in 2004-2024 - period of 8 which is earth that also represents wealth. And the period after that is the Period  of one which is water. One of my fengshui teachers Is Raymond Lo and he said that during water influences people become depressed and economy comes down because of that. When people are pessimistic they stop spending.
